Tourism takes place in
destinations where tourists, tourism businesses and host communities
interact. This International Conference on Responsible Tourism in
Destinations in Oman is the fourth, previous conferences took place
in Cape Town, South Africa (2002), Kerala, India (2008), Belize
2009. Further conferences are being planned in Alberta, Canada
(2011) and Rio de Janeiro (2012).
